Student Initiatives

The main objective of the club is to provide a strong emphasis on the quest for fun in learning and designing innovative as well as practical Electronics and also to help students understand the seemingly incomprehensible electronic gadgets in the world today. Also the club aims to bring the students out of their Syllabi bound shells and to expose them to the practical real life environment.

Energy Club is a platform for students and faculties to attend Workshop, Field Visit, Guest Lectures, Electro forum and Seminars etc. All the activities conducted to provide knowledge among the students and staff on renewable energies and to create awareness on energy conservation and other modern technologies.

The English Club is doing its job effectively and efficiently. It strives to bring out the latent talent of the students by way of organizing and conducting various activities and competitions like Quiz, Presentation, Debate, Oratorical Contest, Essay Writing Contest, etc., with an aim of making the students taste the flavor of the English language. The Club has also conducted various webinars.

The Growing Coders Club (GCC) started by the Department of Information Technology in Paavai Engineering College. The club is fully maintained by students of Information Technology.

Mathematics club helps in the proper utilization of creative thinking. It helps in arousing and maintaining students interest in Mathematics.It provides the students with opportunities to develop their explorative, creative and inventive faculties. It provides students with opportunities to try new things. It helps students apply their math skills to other real-life maths investigations.

Nss At Paavai Aims To Inculcate Social Welfare In Students And To Provide Selfless Service To The Society. The main Objective Of This Committee Is To Arouse Social Consciousness Among Students To Work For The Underprivileged And Marginalized Sections Of Our Society. The Students At Paavai Belonging To Nss And Yrc Committee, Indulged Themselves In Conducting Awareness Programs Like, “First Aid- For Everyone And Everywhere”, Cleanliness Campaign Activities, Blood Donation Camp. Besides These Programs Held At College Or University Level, Some Leading Volunteers Are Being Selected And Sent Each Year To Take Part In Republic Day Parade, National Integration Camp And National Youth Festival.

The main objective is to develop new skills and help students to gain knowledge, skills and experience in coding, designing, leadership,  excellent problem-solving skills, group development and management

The Trekking club at Paavai gives most of the students an opportunity to break from their daily routine and experience life in simplicity of mother Earth. Every year the student volunteers were taken to trekking expedition to create and foster among students a spirit of risk taking, team work, capacity to face and effectively deal with challenging situations.

Inauguration of the society of Aero, Agri, Civil, Chemical, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, MECH, MCT, MCA & MBA department was held at Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal on 19.08.2017. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. Dr.S.Sankar, Council Member of NAFEMS and Dr.N.Sekarpandian, Scientist – SABIC Research and Technology Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, were the chief guests. The Chief Guest, Dr.S.Sankar, inaugurated the association. In his speech, he motivated the students to utilize this association and to invent new things which will be useful for the society. The students were asked to update their knowledge by searching for new concepts. He told the students to think differently which leads them to do things differently. The Guest of Honor, Dr.N.Sekarpandian, motivated the students and gave suggestions to do the research. Director Admin, Deans, Principal, COEs and Heads of various departments, Faculty members and students participated in the inauguration function. Dr.R.Arangasamy, HoD/ECE introduced the office bearers of the society. Through the associations, the students were aimed to organize various events which would enrich their technical and non-technical skills.

The discipline committee is constituted to create awareness against & to prevent any in discipline behavior in campus. The role of the discipline committee is to regulate discipline among the student in the campus to develop mechanism to modulate behavior of the students. Discipline is a bridge between goals & accomplishment ensures. The discipline is conducted every 7 days once.
