The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Paavai Engineering College in association with the institution’s Innovation Council, organized a one-day workshop on the topic “Hands-on Training In Electronics Components” on August 4, 2023, at Kalams Chamber.
The welcome address was delivered by M. Sabitha, a final-year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College honoured the resource person with a memento, and M.Iniya Final year student Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering the introduced the guest speaker . Dr.V.Thiyagu, M.E, Ph.D, Indian Info-Tech Research And Training Centre, Namakkal ,Tamilnadu was the resource person. The resource person explained the significance of various passive and active electronic components such as resistors, inductors, capacitors etc. Further, he provide various statistical report on power electronics company manufacturing procedures and the importance of power electronics in core sector.
The Head of the Department of EEE, faculty members and students participated in the session and benefited. The vote of thanks was proposed by Komaraprasad, final-year student Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
