The Department of Management Studies, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) in association with Institutions Innovation council organized a webinar on World “INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS” on 26th February 2024 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. through Microsoft teams.
The event started with the master of ceremony was done by Ms.R.Pooja of Second year MBA welcomed the gathering. Dr.T.Kalai Selvi, Director, Department of management studies, Paavai Engineering College felicitated the gathering by her motivational speech about the needs of Intellectual property rights in the present scenario. Ms. S.Shravya Lakshmi of Second year ,MBA gave chief guest introduction about Dr.A.Kanimozhi, Assistant professor, Department of Management studies, K.Ramakrishna college of Engineering , Trichy who took over the session.
Dr.A.Kanimozhi spoke about the essentials of Intellectual property rights and its benefits.she explained clearly about the trade marks, patents , copy rights and geographical indicators with examples.This create an awareness among the students . The students was enthusiastic and motivated by her speech. The session was ended by clearing doubts of the students by the speakers.
At last, Mr.S.Bharath kumar of Second year MBA thanked the guest speaker, faculty members and the participants by delivering the vote of thanks.
